Journal ArticleDOI

On a cooperative advertising model for a supply chain with one manufacturer and one retailer

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors show that the results obtained by analyzing the advertising model under the constraints suggested by Yue et al. can differ significantly from those obtained in the previous papers, and they suggest two constraints to fix the negativity problem.
Journal ArticleDOI

Incorporating location, inventory and price decisions into a supply chain distribution network design problem

TL;DR: The goal of this paper is to study a profit-maximization location-inventory problem in a multi-commodity supply chain distribution network with price-sensitive demands, formulated as a mixed-integer nonlinear programming model and solved using a Lagrangian relaxation algorithm.
Journal ArticleDOI

A location-inventory-pricing model in a supply chain distribution network with price-sensitive demands and inventory-capacity constraints

TL;DR: In this paper, a location-inventory-pricing model for designing the distribution network of a supply chain with price-sensitive demands and inventory-capacity constraints is presented, and an efficient Lagrangian relaxation algorithm is proposed to solve the model.
Journal ArticleDOI

A profit-maximization location-capacity model for designing a service system with risk of service interruptions

TL;DR: An efficient Lagrangian-based solution algorithm is developed, which solves large-sized instances with up to 50 service facilities and 500 customers in a few seconds, and is applied to a case study on a logistics network design problem in the zinc mining industry.
