Implementation of green marketing frameworks based on conceptual system designing by integration of PESTLE, classical Delphi and MCDM modeling

This study examined the determinants of purchase intention of green cosmetics, and eight semi-structured interviews were performed to identify them. The determinants identified were environmental awareness, lifestyle, willingness to pay, ethical issues and social and economic justice, cosmetic quality, concern with health, certification labels, trust in the brand, and advertising. Environmental awareness, lifestyle, willingness to pay, quality issues, ethics, and social and economic justice, as well as quality expectations, health concerns, and product knowledge, are the most significant determinants in the intention to purchase green cosmetics. Determinants such as certification labels, brand trust, and advertising are less significant. The research is relevant for the cosmetics industry and its brands to adapt their strategy and product offering to meet consumers' needs and increase the consumption of green cosmetics and can also serve as a basis for the development of new quantitative studies on the purchase intention of green cosmetics.

Abstract Companies have adopted green marketing and marketing strategies to position themselves in consumer preferences, where the circular economy emerges as a solution to move towards responsible production and consumption patterns. From waste recycling marketing strategies, a descriptive analysis of 120 documents from the SCOPUS database was carried out using bibliometric techniques to know the existing state of the art for the period 1977–2021. The results indicate that the annual scientific production increased in the last ten years by over 200% for 2019, highlighting the United States, China, United Kingdom, Germany and India, and Mexico is in position 22. The conceptual and trend analysis points out the relationship between marketing, waste management, commercialization, recycling, sustainable development, and circular economy, topics that have deepened research in the last 5 years due to the SDGs. Through intellectual analysis, schools of thought were identified, highlighting the authors Chen, Wang, Zhang and Liu, Lu, and White, the most influential and connected with other authors. The results show no link between the study areas, but rather that they are developed in isolation, evidencing an area of ​​opportunity to work on marketing strategies for waste recycling, where companies adopt circular economy objectives, obtaining an advantage. Competitive position and position in the market by offering products from a valorization that the consumer prefers. 

Marketing strategies for waste recycling: a bibliometric analysis towards the circular economy

The major goal of this study is to trace the emergence of SFC-related research across time, using a thematic map and a list of corresponding publications. In addition, this study aims to determine the author who has made the most significant contribution to this particular field. This study provides a comprehensive bibliometric analysis of the historical development and current trends in sustainable food consumption research, examining 2265 articles published between 1990 and 2023. Using the bibliometrics package of R Studio software version 4.2.1 and its Biblioshiny package, articles from the Scopus and Web of Science databases are examined. In the field of sustainable food consumption, we identify five distinct research phases: initial stagnation, infant growth, post-economic crisis, expanding phase and COVID-19 and post-pandemic. While research on broader sustainability topics can be traced back to the early 20th century, a very limited number of articles on sustainable food consumption was published in the 1990s. However, the number of publications increased incrementally over time, with a notable uptick in interest around 2015, and the subject was still being discussed in 2022. The emergence of the COVID-19 pandemic marked the beginning of the most recent phase of research, which analyzed the consumption patterns of consumers before and after the pandemic. Our study highlights key authors, documents and sources related to sustainable food consumption. The United States, Italy and the United Kingdom emerged as the most active contributors to the research on sustainable food consumption and were additionally the countries with the largest global market shares for organic products. Major sub-themes including organic food, food waste, sustainable development and food security, together with consumer behavior and organic products appeared as being the most researched sub-themes of recent times. The results of this study suggest that more research is related to sustainable food consumption in countries with a low organic food market share. In addition, the investigation of actual data on food waste, carbon footprints and greenhouse gas emissions resulting from food production and consumption is essential to gain holistic insights.

A Bibliometric Analysis of Sustainable Food Consumption: Historical Evolution, Dominant Topics and Trends

Silappatikaram an epic poetry was written by Ilanko Adikal.  Silambu and Context (Athikaram) are combined and becomes Silappatikaram. The story of Silmba (Anklet) is therefore called Silappatikaram. It is called the Citizen's Epic because it was sung by ordinary people like Kovalan and Kannaki. It is the book that makes the life of the people very clear. Individuality, Family, Relative, Community Membership, Citizenship are Physiological Sites and characteristics that human beings need to protect, tasks to perform, and the norms by which an ordinary man can live in everyday life. The integrity of the political life, the rise of femininity, the belief in morality are the high principles of the Tamil people; Silappatikaram explains these. It persuades moral principles through fiction. In this way, it is considered to be the study of the Physiological norms of these People's through dance.

When ancient stories are retold for a new readership in contemporary times, subtle changes are made that reflect on society. Through the early decades of the twentieth century, the story of Kannaki, the heroine of the epic Silappatikaram, was retold several times in prose and as plays. The Kannaki of the Silappatikaram is vastly different from the Kannaki of the plays. For one, in many of the plays, Kannaki speaks much more than she was allowed to in the epic work by Ilango Adigal. This article is an attempt to understand the ‘silence’ of Kannaki in the epic and the ‘voice’ of Kannaki in one of the early plays by Nagai C. Gopala Krishna Pillai written in the social reform context of early twentieth-century Madras Presidency.

Kannagi and Silappatikaram are important parts of the cultural landscape of Tamil Nadu-the story has been told in many genres of literature and continues to be told. Every narrative, however, carries the imprint of the times it was released in. Kannagi through the Ages: From the Epic to the Dravidian Movement aims to understand the ways in which representations of Kannagi in the epic Silappatikaram differ in every new narrative. Looking at the portrayals of Kannagi in plays, commentaries and folk narratives, the book examines how representations of gender and culture have evolved over time. Focusing on the interrelationships between a text and a society as well as between society and the way it moulds the category of 'woman' at different times through symbols and icon, the author analyses the social, cultural and political processes that contributed to the emergence of Kannagi as an icon of Tamil culture and epitome of Tamil womanhood.
