TL;DR: In this article, the authors investigated solvent dipolar reorientation following excitation of 7-hydroxyflavone in its conjugate anion form in glycerol solvent using time-resolved emission and steady state polarization techniques.
Abstract: Solvent dipolar reorientation following excitation of 7-hydroxyflavone in its conjugate anion form in glycerol solvent was investigated using time-resolved emission and steady state polarization techniques. Our fluorescence lifetime and polarization data primarily conform to a model based on continuous displacement of the emission spectrum as proposed by Bakhshiev and coworkers.
