Increase of employer engagement In 2015-2016, the Career Center implemented the second year of the three year re-engineering plan powered by the new resources made available from the Student Success Initiative to prepare students for professional success through the integration of career and academic planning, and expanding internships and post-graduate employment opportunities for students. As we continued to deliver a high volume of services to students, employers and departments, we also developed an exciting plan to launch an aggressive employer engagement campaign including all of the eight College Career Specialists. In addition, the Career Center was successful in hiring all of the staff needed to participate in the college-based Student Success Teams in addition to additional staff to further expand Career Center services in employer relations. As a result of staff expansion the center saw an increase in five major areas 1) Job and Internship Listings, 2) Employer Engagement, 3) Career Counseling Sessions, 4) Employer and Student Recruiting Event participation, and 5) Career Workshop and Program offerings and participation. The following themes tell the story of the Career Center’s success in 2015-16:

Further divided gender gaps in research productivity and collaboration during the COVID-19 pandemic: Evidence from coronavirus-related literature

The COVID-19 pandemic has exacerbated the already existing gender inequalities with substantial implications on women. With the closure of offices and educational institutions, and the emerging norm of work from home and online education, along with the lack of services of domestic worker, the need to perform unpaid chores in the household has increased. Simultaneously, the requirements of social distancing and sanitization have created new unpaid chores. Owing to the sexual division of labour, and gendered roles and social norms of performing domestic and care work, the burden of unpaid work falls disproportionately on women. In this context, the objective of the paper is to study the impact of COVID-19 on time spent on unpaid work and the underlying gender differences in the urban centres in India. Specifically, the paper will do a comparative analysis of the gender differences in time spent on unpaid work before and during the lockdown, and analyse the reasons for the same.

Power Trade in South Asia: Developing A Framework Based on Case Studies of Power Trading Arrangements in Europe and Asia:

Working from home is not gender neutral. As the COVID-19 pandemic has relocated all non-essential work to the home setting, it becomes imperative to examine the phenomenon through a gender lens. Accordingly, I conducted a qualitative study using semi-structured interviews with 30 dual-earning married couples in India to study the gendered work-from-home experiences of men and women during the pandemic. The findings suggest that the pandemic has disproportionately increased the burden of unpaid work for women as compared to men. Women are negotiating gendered time-space arrangements within their households with the allocation of limited resources being in favor of men. When this interacts with work, gender inequalities are reinforced both at work and home. Gender roles and unpaid work determine women's choices regarding when and where to work, boundary management between work and non-work domains, and their experiences of social isolation. Further, gender roles have also affected women's decisions regarding returning to work post-pandemic, where some women may not be returning to work at all. Finally, the paper identifies how gender intersects with the existing conceptual frameworks of working from home, and makes a strong case for integrating gender considerations in the work-from-home policies.

“I Have No Room of My Own”: COVID-19 Pandemic and Work-From-Home Through a Gender Lens

The aim of writing this review on FDDS to focus on the system of floatation to attain gastric retention, or to attain desired concentration of drug in blood or tissues. Today’s condition focus on the formulation of the FDDS. Effervescent FDDS release carbon dioxide gas, thus decreases the density of the system and remain floatable  in stomach for a longer period of time and released the drug at slowly conveniently  in order to improve bioavailability of drug. The study summarizes the application of the system, factors that affect floating system, mechanism, advantages, disadvantages and preparation.
