Complex glass cutting allowed thanks to a reflectively generated Bessel beam with homogeneous energy distribution over the propagation axis

TL;DR: In this paper , a fully reflective system for high quality Bessel beam generation using a fully-reflective system has been described, which presents an intensity plateau along its propagation axis, being twice more homogeneous and having a five times sharper tail compared to a classical Besselbeam.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

Non-symmetrical beam shaping for high-power laser cutting processes

TL;DR: In this paper , a beam shaper compatible with industry standard equipment handling up to 16kW average power delivering an optimized non-symmetric shape is described, enabling to reconstruct the cutting front and to calculate the absorbed irradiance on the processed sample.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

QCL beam combining based on multi-plane light conversion for countermeasure application

TL;DR: In this article , a non-coherent beam combiner for QCL with optimal beam quality is presented, demonstrating the state-of-the-art performance in terms of M2.
