Preparation and characterization of some volatile double isopropoxides of aluminum with alkaline earth metals

TL;DR: In this paper, the double isopropoxides are obtained by partial alcoholysis of the isopropy groups to give the corresponding double alkoxides [M[Al(OPri)4]2]n (n = 1, M =Mg; n = 2, N = Ca, Sr, and Ba) which can be isolated by vacuum distillation or sublimation.
Journal ArticleDOI

Complexes of trivalent phosphorus derivatives. XIV. Metal complexes of diphenylphosphinophenylacetylene

TL;DR: The infrared-active γ(CC) frequencies in the various metal complexes of diphenylphosphinophenylacetylene can be used as indicators of the relative amounts of retrodative π-bonding from filled metal d orbitals to the empty phosphorus d orbital of the phosphine ligand as discussed by the authors.
Journal ArticleDOI

Reactions of alkali-metal derivatives of metal carbonyls. IX. Preparation and properties of allyl derivatives of cyclopentadienylruthenium carbonyl

TL;DR: The mass spectra of various allyl derivatives of cyclopentadienyl metal carbonyls of molybdenum, ruthenium, and tungsten are compared in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI

Complexes of trivalent phosphorus derivates. IV. Metal carbonyl complexes of cis-bis-1,2,-(diphenylphosphino) ethylene.☆

TL;DR: In this paper, reactions of various metal carbonyl derivatives with cis-bis-1,2-(diphenylphosphino)ethylene, (C 6 H 5 ) 2 PCH CHP((C 6H 5 )2) are reported.
Journal ArticleDOI

Complexes of trivalent phosphorus derivatives. XIII. 1,4-bis(diphenylphosphino)butyne-2 and its complexes

TL;DR: In this paper, the reaction of 1,4-dichlorobutyne-2 with lithium diphenylphosphide gives the new acetylenic ditertiary phosphine (C 6 H 5 ) 2 PCH 2 CCCH 2 P(C 6H 5 ), which could be converted to its dioxide and disulfide by conventional methods.
