Journal ArticleDOI

Handling of Dynamic Sequences in Nuclear Medicine

TL;DR: The authors indicate what could be the flow chart of the processing of dynamic sequences in scintigraphy and the kind of material that would be necessary to implement it.
Journal ArticleDOI

Scatter correction in scintigraphy: the state of the art.

TL;DR: The main features of the problem of scattering in radionuclide imaging are presented to provide a sound foundation for a critical review of the existing scatter correction techniques.
Journal Article

Factor analysis in gated cardiac studies.

TL;DR: FADS was significantly better than FA on the whole set of patients, and the joint results were compared with the final diagnosis, established by real-time echocardiography and/or ventriculography.
Journal Article

Factor analysis of medical image sequences in MR of head and neck tumors.

TL;DR: FAMIS of dynamic MR studies was useful for differentiating neoplastic tissue from tissue having undergone changes by chemotherapy and/or radiotherapy, but it did not improve the ability of MR to characterize neoplastics tissues in previously untreated patients.
Journal ArticleDOI

High compression of nuclear medicine dynamic studies.

TL;DR: A technique has been developed for medical image sequences storage and transmission in order to obtain very high compression ratio: in dynamic nuclear medicine studies it can achieve a compression ratio as high as 100:1 without significant degradation.
