With the exponential rise in the volumes of video traffic in cellular networks, there is an urgent need for improving the quality of video delivery. This research proposes a mobile generation model based on the updated technologies of the fourth- and fifth-generation mobile systems, which is called Proposed Generation (Pro-G). This model uses wider bandwidth and advanced adaptive modulation and coding. It also incorporates the method of the adaptive video streaming of multiple video data rates by using the transcoding technique, which is called H.265 proposed (H.265 pro). Thus, both methods are tested to provide a large number of users of video/data application with more speed and best quality. A comparison with 4G technology is done to assign the development regarding number of users with data rate. The suggested video coding shows how much the overall system is more reliable over the congested channel than conventional video coding technologies such as high-efficiency video coding (HEVC/H.265) and advanced video coding (AVC/H.264). The results showed that the proposed method of transmitting wireless data is better than the LTE-ADV method. In this method, the rate of data transfer increases by 29% compared with LTE-ADV, while the bit rate saving was increased to 13% in the proposed video coding compared with that in the H.265.

A New Wireless Generation Technology for Video Streaming

Handover, as a resource consuming process, is an important issue in mobile communications which can highly affect the overall performance of the LTE networks. Since the handover process mainly relies on four main entry condition parameters, optimizing these parameters will in turn improve the handover process. In this work, we investigate the effectiveness of the four handover parameters by measuring the resulting downlink throughput and number of the required handovers. We furthermore determine the optimized values of the parameters through implementing different sets of experiments. Finally, by applying the obtained optimized parameters on two main LTE handover algorithms i.e. A3RSRP and A2A4RSRQ, their performance is compared regarding to different speeds of the mobile equipment. We determine how to accurately select the optimal settings for the parameters so that greater LTE performance can be achieved.

Impact of Inter-eNodeB Handover Pameters on Performance Optimization of LTE Networks

The development of new technologies for wireless cellular networks is always in advancement. As 3GPP LTE has been considered the foundation of mobile broadband, with key considerations of low latency, higher information data rate, and quality of service.Therefore, Quality of Service (QoS) is one of the keys issues for the success of new generation mobile systems. So the evaluating wireless communication system performance has become a critical issue for broadband wireless networks, to ensures QoS for various applications such as VoIP, video and IoT according to 3GPP specifications.In this paper the scheduling mechanisms are considered as the system performance and improve the overall system Quality of Experience (QoE) with uses carrier aggregation technique in resource allocation to increase throughput and comparing this with different scheduling algorithms. The average throughput, delay are the performance metrics that used. A main contribution of this paper is will be proposing an optimal scheduling scheme that can balance between the performance metric.

Packet scheduling with carrier aggregation for balancing QoS in LTE advanced Networks

Today’s 4G and 4.5G network is not capable of meeting the needs of a broadband network, 5G is designed to meet the needs. The key features of 5G include high throughput, improved spectrum efficiency, and reduced latency. Higher frequencies may be used by 5G, but the result is high cost. Furthermore, the volumes of video traffic in wireless system networks, there is an urgent need for improving the quality of video delivery. For this reason, this paper is devoted to proposing a wireless mobile system based on the updated LTE-ADV Pro (4.5G–4.9G) technology to arrive 5G capability with low cost. The proposed system uses advanced adaptive modulation and coding and advanced waveform to provide higher spectral efficiency. It also incorporates the proposed method of the adaptive video streaming of multiple video data rates. The results presented that the proposed wireless technique is better than LTE-ADV regarding data transmitted, while the proposed video coding method is better than H.265. The overall result in the proposed system is supported users about is 24% as compared to LTE-ADV with H.265 and about is 100% as compared to LTE with H.265.

Proposed of the wireless mobile system and video coding system in the heterogeneous network

Long-Term Advancement Progressed (LTE-ADV) is the advancement of the long-term evolution, which created via 3GPP. LTE-ADV aims to offer a transmission bandwidth of (100) MHz by using Carrier Aggregation (CA) to aggregate LTE-ADV carriers. To increase the data capacity of the system and resource allocation converts a very good tool. LTE-Advanced multiple Component Carriers (CCs) becomes a difficult optimization problem. In the paper proposes a new scheduling algorithm and compares with a different scheduling traditional algorithms that are proportional fair and round robin in the CA, in order to find the best scheduler that provides high-quality throughput and improves fairness. It i also evaluates mapping model types are Mutual Information Effective SINR Mapping (MIESM) and Exponential Effective SINR Mapping (EESM). The results show that the throughput in the proposed algorithm with MIESM outperforms from others mapping and scheduling.

Optimization a Scheduling Algorithm of CA in LTE ADV

Carrier aggregation (CA) is a major feature in LTE-advanced technology that allows network provider to use more than one carrier simultaneously to increase capacity. CA uses two or more individual component carriers (CCs) of the same (intra-band) and different (inter-band) frequency bands. In this paper, we evaluate CA techniques with the test parameter using BLER and throughput inside the tested area of LTE network. The tested area is designed to represent most common environment in which LTE will be deployed. We use 30 MHz frequency bandwidth in the simulation to evaluate intra-band and inter-band CA technique performance. Two CCs is allocated for primary serving cell (PCell) and secondary serving cell (SCell). Simulation result shows for the downlink, BLER tend to increase, as the frequency configuration is increase. However, for the uplink BLER is zero. We found that for CA configuration with wider PCell bandwidth resulting better throughput. In CA intra-band, the throughput of non-contiguous CA is better than CA contiguous. Then in the inter-band CA, CC combination with a lower frequency produces higher throughput.
