Synthesis and investigation of poly(p-phenylenediamine)–poly(1,4-benzoquinonediimine-N,N-diyl-1,4-phenylene)
TL;DR: In this paper, a poly(1,4-benzoquinonediimine-N,N-diyl-1, 4-phenylene) was synthesized by chemical oxidative polymerization of p-phenylenediamine and its salt using potassium peroxydisulfate as an oxidant in molar ratio 1:0.8, in acetic acid, at 278 K.
Journal ArticleDOI
Syntheses and investigation of polymers containing 1-triazene-1,3-diyl and 1,4-phenylene group
TL;DR: In this paper, the effect of monomer/sodium nitrite ratio on the solubility of the polymers, as well as the dependence of properties such as electrical conductivity and ESR upon the main chain structure, have been investigated.
Book ChapterDOI
Copolymerization of Aniline with P-Phenylenediamine in an Acetic Acid Medium
TL;DR: In this article, aniline copolymerization with p-phenylenediamine in an acetic acid medium has been investigated for the first time, and it has been determined that a polymer having a structure analogous to the polyaniline called emeraldine is formed.
Journal ArticleDOI
Investigation of addition reaction of sodium thiosulfate pentahydrate to quinonediimine groups
TL;DR: In this article, it was established that the reaction of sodium thiosulfate with poly(p-phenylenediamine)-poly(1,4-benzoquinonediimine-N,N′-diyl-1, 4-acetaminophenyl)-1.4-bbenzo-quinonedimine groups results in 1,4 addition of thio-sulfate to quinonediimate groups.
Journal ArticleDOI
Synthesis, Characterization, and Electrical Properties of Poly(azophenyleneazo-2,4-diamino-1,5-phenylenes)
TL;DR: In this paper, it was found that dihydrobenztriazolic units were formed as a result of cyclization reaction between amino and azo groups located in ortho position to each other.
