Journal ArticleDOI
The vapour pressure of liquid nitrogen
TL;DR: In this article, the vapour pressure-temperature relation of liquid nitrogen has been measured from the boiling point to the triple point with platinum resistance thermometers, and the experimental results showed that the boiling points and triple point temperatures of nitrogen are 77.343°K and 63.141°K on the average reduced scale, respectively.
Journal ArticleDOI
The vapour pressure of liquid oxygen
TL;DR: In this article, the temperature dependence of the pressure of the saturated vapour of liquid oxygen was calculated from a thermodynamic equation using available experimental information, and a formula for the p - T relation of oxygen was proposed and a table has been calculated.
Journal ArticleDOI
The temperatures at the transition points in solid oxygen
TL;DR: The best values for the transition points in solid oxygen have been measured with platinum thermometers in a calorimetric apparatus suitable for thermometer calibrations at low temperatures.
Journal ArticleDOI
On the definition of an international practical temperature scale. The interpolation of differences in the resistance ratios of platinum thermometers between 91 K and 14 K
TL;DR: In this article, the International Practical Temperature Scale between 90.2 K and 13.8 K was defined by using a relation between the resistance ratio W (T ) = R ( T )/R (O°C) of platinum and the temperature.
Journal ArticleDOI
Comparisons of platinum resistance thermometers with the hydrogen vapour-pressure thermometer
TL;DR: In this paper, the best values on the CCT-64 scale of the fixed points of the International ractical Temperature Scale of 1968 (IPTS-68) in the liquid-hydrogen range were given.
