TL;DR: In this article , the association between neighborhood segregation and 6-year incident metabolic syndrome (MetSyn) in the Hispanic Community Health Study/Study of Latinos was examined, and evenness and exposure dimensions of neighborhood segregation, based on the Gini and isolation indices, respectively, were categorized into quintiles (Q).
