Journal ArticleDOI

Color stability of dental enamel bleached with violet LED associated with or without Low concentration peroxide gels.

TL;DR: It could be concluded that violet LED had immediate bleaching effect without promoting significant changes in enamel morphology, however the association with carbamide peroxide 22% showed color stability and greater bleaching efficacy than the use of violet LED alone, after 6 months.
Journal ArticleDOI

Effect of Er:YAG laser on enamel demineralization around restorations

TL;DR: The erbium-doped yttrium aluminum garnet parameters employed to cavity preparation influenced the acid resistance of the irradiated substrate, and the Er:YAG laser was capable to control the development of caries-like lesions around composite resin restorations.
Journal ArticleDOI

Er:YAG laser irradiation to control the progression of enamel erosion: an in situ study

TL;DR: It may be concluded that Er:YAG laser irradiation did not reduce the progression of erosive lesions on enamel submitted to in situ erosion with citric acid.
Journal ArticleDOI

Durability of resin on bleached dentin treated with antioxidant solutions or lasers

TL;DR: Sodium ascorbate, EGCG or lasers restored the immediate bond strength, but only the natural extracts were effective in the long-term durability of resin.
Journal ArticleDOI

Effects of EDTA gel and chlorhexidine gel on root dentin permeability

TL;DR: The study found that 24% EDTA gel increased the permeability of dentin in all thirds evaluated and also demonstrated an increased cleaning ability, with dentinal walls free of smear layer and open dentinal tubules, as compared to 2% CHX gel.
