Synthesis of novel coumarin appended bis(formylpyrazole) derivatives: Studies on their antimicrobial and antioxidant activities.

TL;DR: Detailed quantitative structure-activity relationship (QSAR) analysis indicated the molecular parameters that contribute to increased potency of inhibition and would further encourage understanding in employing coumarin pyrazole hybrids as potential antibiotic agents for treating infections caused by pathogenic microbes and fungi.
Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis and biological evaluation of novel formyl-pyrazoles bearing coumarin moiety as potent antimicrobial and antioxidant agents.

TL;DR: A series of coumarin appended formyl-pyrazoles 14-18 were synthesized by a simple and accessible approach as mentioned in this paper, which showed promising antifungal and antibacterial activity against different organisms tested.
Journal Article

Synthesis and antimicrobial activity of novel fused pyrazoles

TL;DR: In this paper, the Vilsmeier-Haack reaction was used to synthesize fused pyrazoles and examined them for their in vitro antimicrobial activity, and the results of the antimicrobial assay revealed that the compound 4b having chloro substitution showed good activity against different microorganisms tested.
Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis of Coumarin Appended 1,3-Oxazines as Potent Antimicrobial and Antioxidant Agents

TL;DR: A convenient protocol for the synthesis of coumarin appended 1,3-benzoxazine derivatives (4a – 4g) is described, proving significant antimicrobial activity and in vitro antioxidant activity of the synthesized compounds was evaluated and compared to that of standards.
