Characterization of Submicron Particles of Tetragonal BaTiO3

TL;DR: Barium titanate (BaTiO3) powders of varying particle sizes were grown under hydrothermal conditions at a temperature of 240 °C as mentioned in this paper, where the hydroxide concentration of the r...
Journal ArticleDOI

Sintered octadecylsilica as monolithic column packing in capillary electrochromatography and micro high-performance liquid chromatography

TL;DR: The mechanical strength and stability of the monolithic column were significantly greater than those of conventional columns packed with particulate stationary phase and the plate efficiency was similar to that of columns freshly packed with the same particles and was always higher in the CEC than in the mu-HPLC under otherwise identical conditions.
Journal ArticleDOI

Hydrothermal Synthesis and Dielectric Properties of Tetragonal BaTiO3

TL;DR: In this article, the tetragonal content of barium titanates was quantified from differential scanning calorimetry by following the endothermic Curie transition around 130{degrees}C and reached as high as 37-39% for the materials made with the barium halides.
Journal ArticleDOI

Dynamics of capillary electrochromatography. II. Comparison of column efficiency parameters in microscale high-performance liquid chromatography and capillary electrochromatography.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors compared band spreading measured experimentally in several packed capillaries with electrosmotic flow (EOF) and viscous flow under otherwise identical conditions.
Journal ArticleDOI

Sintering and Dielectric Properties of Hydrothermally Synthesized Cubic and Tetragonal BaTiO3 Powders

TL;DR: The sintering behavior of hydrothermally synthesized cubic and tetragonal BaTiO3 powders was studied as a function of temperature and the dielectric properties of the sintered samples were examined from room temperature to 200°C at a frequency of 1 kHz.
