Study on the Eulerian dispersed phase equations in non-uniform turbulent two-phase flows: discussion and comparison with experiments

TL;DR: In this article, the authors analyzed the underlying mechanisms in the continuum equations for non-colliding particles in dilute non-uniform two-phase flows and provided reasonable agreement in all available variables, including the particulate normal Reynolds stresses.
Journal ArticleDOI

Discussion on second-order dispersed phase Eulerian equations applied to turbulent particle-laden jet flows

TL;DR: In this paper, a simplified version of the Reynolds stress two-phase flow model is presented for axisymmetric particle-laden gas jets, and a global picture of the momentum and fluctuating energy transfer is attained.
Journal Article

Analytic expressions for interface terms in general dispersed two-phase flow laden with arbitrary-shaped dispersed elements.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors presented the methodology of the indicator function-discrete elements probability density function statistical average applied to two-phase flow modelling, which can be applied to any laminar or turbulent flow.
