Journal ArticleDOI

Alterations of cardiac structure in patients with isolated office, ambulatory, or home hypertension: Data from the general population (Pressione Arteriose Monitorate E Loro Associazioni [PAMELA] Study)

TL;DR: Isolated office hypertension has a noticeable prevalence in the population and is accompanied by structural cardiac alterations, suggesting that it is not an entirely harmless phenomenon, and limiting blood pressure measurements to office values may not suffice in identification of subjects at risk.
Journal ArticleDOI

Prevalence of Left Ventricular Hypertrophy in Hypertensive Patients Without and With Blood Pressure Control: Data From the PAMELA Population

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors measured office, home, and 24-hour ambulatory BP values, together with echocardiographic left ventricular mass and wall thickness, in 2051 subjects belonging to the PAMELA (Pressioni Arteriose Monitorate E Loro Associazioni) Study population.
Journal Article

A case of cardiac localization of graft-versus-host disease after allogenic bone marrow transplantation.

TL;DR: The hypothesis of cardiac graft-versus-host disease was supported by the reversibility of all the abnormalities after specific treatment.
