TL;DR: A prospective longitudinal study was devised to answer whether race or level of education affects scores on the Mini‐Mental State (MMS) exam in non‐demented people and what numerical cutpoints maximize the sensitivity and specificity of utilizing the MMS to help diagnose dementia in blacks of varying educational attainment.

Myocardial infarction caused by hypotension during physical examination maneuvers in the elderly.

TL;DR: An 88-year-old woman with mild hypertension and a 20 year history of "nervous colon" with occasional diarrhea was referred to the geriatrics clinic for evaluation of intermittent intractable diarrhea, fecal incontinence, and a 65 pound weight loss over the prior 2 years.
