Measurement of Motion beyond the Quantum Limit by Transient Amplification.

TL;DR: It is demonstrated that TEA can be used to resolve fine structure in the phase space of a mechanical oscillator by tomographically reconstructing the density matrix of a squeezed state of motion.

Non-destructive optical readout of a superconducting qubit

TL;DR: In this article, the authors demonstrate non-destructive optical readout of a superconducting transmon qubit via a continuously operated electro-optic transducer, and demonstrate that the backaction on the qubit from the transducers is less than that imparted by thermal radiation from the environment.
