Journal ArticleDOI

Applications in gaseous ion and neutral chemistry using a six-sector mass spectrometer

TL;DR: In this paper, a tandem mass spectrometer of EBEEBE geometry (B = magnetic sector; E = electric sector), designed for fundamental studies of gaseous ions and neutral reactive molecules, is described.
Journal ArticleDOI

One‐Pot Synthesis of Well‐Defined Amphiphilic and Adaptative Block Copolymers via Versatile Combination of “Click” Chemistry and ATRP

TL;DR: Well-defined amphiphilic PCL-b-PDMAEMA block copolymers were successfully synthesized by a combination of ATRP and "click" chemistry following either a commutative two-step procedure or a straightforward one-pot process using CuBr 3Bpy as the sole catalyst.
Journal ArticleDOI

A new hybrid mass spectrometer for the investigation of ion/molecule reactions

TL;DR: An RF-only quadrupole collision cell, fitted with retardation and acceleration lenses, has been installed in a field-free region of a large-scale tandem mass spectrometer.
Journal ArticleDOI

Electron impact and chemical ionization mass spectrometry of heterocumulenes produced by flash vacuum pyrolysis

TL;DR: In this article, a real-time monitoring of the pyrolysis products is performed by methods of tandem mass spectrometry and chemical ionization is shown, for the first time, to generate protonated molecular ions of these kinetically unstable neutral molecules which can be identified by collisional activation experiments.
Journal ArticleDOI

Formation of Cumulenes, Triple‐Bonded, and Related Compounds by Flash Vacuum Thermolysis of Five‐Membered Heterocycles

TL;DR: Flash vacuum thermolysis of a large variety of heterocyclic compounds is a useful means of production of ketenes, ketenimines, thioketenes, allenes, iminopropadienones, bis(imino)propadienes, imINopropaddienethiones, carbodiimides, isothiocyanates, acetylenes, fulminic acid, Nitrile imines and nitrile ylides, nitriles, cyanamides, cyanates, and other compounds, often
