A dispenser for dispensing rolled materials wherein the dispenser includes a housing adapted to support a roll of material. A cover is attached to the housing, the cover being pivotable upwardly to an open position and pivotable downwardly to a closed position. A first roller may be attached to the housing and a second roller may be attached to the cover. A dispensing opening is formed between the housing and the cover when the cover is in its closed position, so that the leading portion of a roll of material that is placed within the housing may extend over the first roller. When the cover is moved to its closed position, the leading portion is captured in the nip formed between the first roller and the second roller, thus eliminating the need to feed the leading portion of the rolled material through the nip formed by the rollers.

A nozzle for dispensing sheet product is disclosed. The nozzle includes a base portion having an inner periphery and an outer periphery and oriented substantially perpendicular to a dispense direction of the sheet product. A sloping portion of the nozzle is disposed proximate a center of the base portion. The sloping portion extends from the inner periphery of the base portion toward the center in the dispense direction and terminates at an edge defining an opening of the nozzle. The nozzle further includes a lip portion disposed about the outer periphery of the base portion, and a retention feature extending from the lip portion.

The invention comprises a method and apparatus for more efficiently and easily dispensing paper products, such as toilet tissue, from commercial wall mounted dispensers. The invention may comprise spring loaded projections on the interior of the housing that are adapted to receive and suspend within the housing rolls of paper tissue. Doors within the housing are configured to allow insertion of a new roll of paper into the dispenser when located in the open position; further, such doors suspend the tail of the paper roll for easy access to the tissue user when the doors are in the closed position. An accessory feature facilitates the dispensing of a stub roll or partially consumed roll, as well as a new roll, upon reloading of the dispenser. One or more windows are provided to enable maintenance personnel to determine when reloading the dispenser is required.

The present invention relates to a dispenser for interfolded napkins, the dispenser (1) comprising an inner container (2) defining a dispensing opening (7), and an outer sleeve (3) comprising a dispensing mouth (9), the outer sleeve (3) forming at least one open end portion (10) being arranged to receive the inner container (2), and the dispensing mouth (9) forms an open end towards an open end portion (10) of the sleeve (3). When the inner container is located in the outer sleeve (3), a supporting surface (8) is biased towards the dispensing opening (7) of the inner container (2) and vertically movable inside the inner container (2) between a lower position and an upper position, and, at least in a region adjacent the open end of the dispensing mouth (9), the outer contour of the upper ends of the side walls (6) of the inner container (2) deviates from the inner periphery of the sleeve (3), forming an access opening (13) to the space between the upper position and the dispensing mouth (9).

Dispenser for interfolded napkins

A toilet paper dispenser which serves the dual role of providing paper roll support arms and a shields for the cavity in the support arms. When a paper roll is inserted into the dispenser, the edge of the roll contacts the shields pushing the shields into the cavities and when the paper roll tube bore reaches the shields, the shields become re-positioned in the bore of the paper roll by a tensioning device.
