Cation exchange reactions and layer solvate complexes of ternary phases MxMoS2
Robert Schöllhorn,Armin Weiss +1 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the intercalation of molybdenum disulphide with alkali and alkali-earth metals is investigated. But the interlayer distance depends on the type of cation exchanged and on cation hydration.
Journal ArticleDOI
Cathodic reduction of layered transition metal chalcogenides
Robert Schöllhorn,Heinrich Meyer +1 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a binary transition metal chalcogenides MX 2 (M = transition metal, X=S, Se) may be reduced electrochemically in aqueous electrolyte solutions to give hydrated polyelectrolyte compounds (A x ) x+ (H 2 O) y [MX 2 ] x− (I).
Journal ArticleDOI
Layered intercalation complexes of the hydrogen bronze H0.5MoO3 With organic lewis bases
TL;DR: The topotactic formation and structure of layered intercalation complexes obtained by the reaction of hydrogen bronzes H x MoO 3 with organic Lewis base donor molecules L are described in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI
Superconductivity in hydrated ternary tantalum sulfides
TL;DR: In this paper, the potential twodimensional superconductivity of tantalum sulfide A+0.3− with A+ being a group Ia or group IIa cation was found to be superconducting.
Journal ArticleDOI
A crystal structure investigation of the hydrated layered chalcogenides Kx(H2O)yNbS2 and Kx(H2O)yTaS2
TL;DR: The hydrated ternary sulphides K0.5(H2O)yNbS2 and K 0.33(H 2 O)yTaS2 are isotypic and crystallize in hexagonal structures with the parameters a = 3.35 A, c = 17.94 A (Nb) and a =3.18 A (Ta); the space group is P 6 2c.
