TL;DR: An initial assessment of the efficacy of an astress-management program designed to reduce the behavioral distress of children undergoing highlypainful medical treatments for their burn injuries indicated that the program was moderately effective at reducing behavioral distress during the burntreatment procedures for 3 of the 4 patients and less effective with the fourth.

TL;DR: Investigated the relationship between maternal and child emotional adaptation both across and within samples of children with cystic fibrosis and insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus, finding that higher levels of maternal depression were associated with increased depression in children with IDDM.
