Continuous learning works like a blood for organization and individuals to proceed and succeed. Underdeveloped countries need to address their academic issues. Academic prosperity is linked to economy and technology disruptions so it’s an important element to bring underdeveloped countries up to the mark to thrive and survive in this technical era. Academic prosperity depends upon student's enthusiastic attitude and their emotional and spiritual intelligences. This study was conducted in learning organizations to see the impact of emotional and spiritual intelligences on academic performance. Population of the study is the academic institutes of Pakistan. Data were collected using cross-sectional questionnaire-based survey from 113 students in Pakistan. The findings provide positive and significant correlations among the types of intelligences and academic performance. Data was analyzed using SPSS and the results were verified using statistical methods like correlation, regression, ANNOVA, Cronbach alpha and means. This study highlights the role of emotional intelligence and spiritual intelligence on academic performance and found out that it has the most demanding and significant effect on the academic performance, therefore it needs better integration in academic practices, routine and culture.

Correlating spiritual and emotional intelligence with academic performance among Pakistani students

During 2020, in the time of the COVID-19 during and after lockdown. Governments are imposing lockdown and shutdown for all activities/services inside the country to reduce the spread of the previously mentioned pandemic including international flights. Major factories and manufacturers had stopped for months during the pandemic which led to having thousands of people with no salaries. Major companies resorted to work from home procedures whenever they can to keep the business going. This research will focus on the Online buying intention that eventually leads to buying behavior of Ready-made Garments in Egypt over the internet and social media, such as Facebook and Instagram to be specific. Readymade garment industry has started booming with the spread of e-commerce, especially with the influence of social media. Paper focuses on the area of greater Cairo and its resident customer segment of readymade garments, focusing on middle and upper social with minimum college education, who are also well-enabled with the needed resources to purchase products via the Internet. 

The primary data was collected through Customer Interviews that were conducted through online questionnaires that resulted in the observation of COVID-19 as a catalyst for online shopping intention as a determinant of behavior since 32.5 % of the respondents increased their buying frequency during the lockdown. The secondary data was collected through the review of previous researches, models and cases. Although the Online Buying Behavior is relatively a new phenomenon, the Buying behavior is quite rich with theories, a theoretical framework was proposed for the study of the online buying intention as a determinant of behavior that is based on Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) by Davis (1989) and 2 variables from Nayyar & Gupta (2011) along with 2 moderating variables which are eWOM & Psychological Factors and a mediating variable which is COVID-19.

The Changes in Online Buying Intention as a Determinant of Behavior During COVID-19 Pandemic in the Ready-Made Garments Industry in Egypt

The aim of this study is to examine the effect of most important factors of online shopping such as brand, price, and service quality on consumer's e-satisfaction and e-loyalty comparatively. It is for understanding the better online shopping in the Indian e-commerce context. The paper uses thorough literature review of closely related articles to analyze and confirm the conceptual model proposed in the research. The results indicate that Indian consumers are still price sensitive and influenced by branded products and excellent service quality while online shopping. However, service quality directly as well as positively affects both e-satisfaction and e-loyalty. The paper is different of its kind to discuss comparatively to the impact of brand, price and service quality on Indian customer e-satisfaction and e-loyalty. The study shows that the service quality aspects of online shopping websites need to be strengthened to motivate consumers to buy online.

E-Satisfaction and E-Loyalty: Two Main Consequences of Online Buying Attributes

Internet shopping in the Covid-19 era: Investigating the role of perceived risk, anxiety, gender, culture, and trust in the consumers’ purchasing behavior from a developing country context

Online channel has redefined the way businesses were conducted and many e-travel firms were the first to exemplify. The purpose of this paper is to determine the key factors that influence consumers’ intention to adopt online channel for train travel. The extended model incorporates the basic ingredients of TAM, TPB and Shim’s model along with several external variables such as trust, convenience and involvement. Data were collected from 514 online travel customers. In the first phase, structural equation modeling was employed to determine the significant variables and in the second phase, the neural network model was used to rank the relative importance of the significant predictors identified by SEM. The results indicated that Trust, Perceived Usefulness, Convenience and Website as significant factors. Among significant ones, neural networks suggested “convenience” as the highest importance. The study indicates few marketing approaches that can help travel service providers to formulate optimal marketing strategies.

Predicting Online Travel Adoption Intention of an Indian Consumer: A SEM-Neural Network Approach

Internet penetration in India has become more widespread on account of easy payment options, reduced hardware prices, faster and cost effective internet communication, and reliable technology. Internet applications such as emailing, e-banking, e-gaming, travel and entertainment bookings have become part and parcel of the growing tech-savvy population in India. Although new business models focusing on e-retailing are providing exciting services to satisfy e-consumers’ demands, the Indian internet retail market is far behind its expected potential. It therefore becomes imperative to assess the important determinants of internet buying behavior. There has been a very limited research to study the internet shopping behavior and factors responsible for determining online purchase intentions in India. The aim of this research is to provide a view of the various demographic and psychographic factors influencing consumer’s willingness to purchase online. A new model based on Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) has been developed for the purpose of this research which incorporates consumer demographic factors and Perceived risk along with other TAM variables to explain the consumer acceptance of online shopping. The findings are expected to hold value for internet retailers as these are the simplest segmenting descriptors which will guide them in generating more effective business strategies for their organizations. Overall, this study seeks to provide productive insights into the factors determining the prospects of internet retailing in the country.

Flexible Mental Models and Collective Wisdom Through Social Media: An Interpretive Structural Modeling Approach:

Retention policies in higher education institutions in India are formulated on the basis of performance of faculty members of the institutions. Till date, academic credentials of faculty members are the basis of their recruitment and selection. But for retaining high performers in the institutions, intelligence beyond cognitive should be inculcated in performance measurement systems of the institutions. This study explores the impact of emotional and spiritual intelligence on performance of faculty members for retention using structural equation modeling. The study reveals that there is significant impact of emotional and spiritual intelligence on faculty performance. Therefore, these forms of intelligence must be included and implemented for performance assessment in higher education systems while framing retention policies.
