The prime motive of this research article is to construct a new mathematical approach for approximation of higher-order discrete interval system into its corresponding lower-order discrete interval model (LODIM). In this approach, a stable approximation technique for discrete interval system is derived with the help of integrated derivative technique. The key feature of this approach is that it is eliminating both the reciprocal transformation and normalization process as carried out in existing methods. Additionally, it assures stability retention of LODIM and upholds the steady-state value of original system. In order to show the accuracy and effectiveness of the proposed approach, a standard sampled test system is taken from the literature. The proposed technique is compared with the recent and relevant techniques of model order reduction. Further, step response and Bode diagram are plotted to prove the efficacy of proposed approach. A comparative study is also undertaken to conclude the same.

Stable Approximation of Discrete Interval Systems

Order Reduction of LTI Systems Using Balanced Truncation and Particle Swarm Optimization Algorithm

This research proposal, presents the investigation of approximation of Sylvester based higher-order (HO) nineteenth order multi-input-multi-output (MIMO) power system model by utilizing time-moments (TMs) along with Markov-parameters (MPs) of HO-MIMO system and its lowered-order (LO) model. The TMs and MPs of Sylvester based HO system and its LO model are employed to construct the objective function. The objective function is desired to optimized such that the errors between TMs and MPs of HO-Sylvester based system and LO model are diminished. This minimization of errors by optimizing weighted objective function (WOF) is done with the help of jaya algorithm. The constraints to solve the WOF utilizing jaya algorithm are steady-state matching and ensuring stability of LO Sylvester model. The responses of proposed LO model is compared with the Sylvester based HO model. The time- domain specifications and error-indices of proposed LO model is presented to demonstrate the efficacy and applicability of the proposed method.

Jaya Assisted Approximation of Sylvester Based Higher-Order MIMO Power System Model

This paper deals with a model order reduction (MOR) technique for the reduction of higher order stable system (HOSS) into its corresponding reduced order stable model (ROSM). The proposed reduction technique is a combination of sine cosine algorithm (SCA) and Routh approximation (RA) method. In the proposed technique, numerator and denominator coefficients of ROSM are computed by using SCA and RA method, respectively. Further, it is observed that ROSM retains the fundamental characteristics of HOSS. This proposed method is validated by considering a standard multi-input multi-output (MIMO) test case. From simulated results, the performance accuracies of the corresponding ROSM are evaluated by comparing its step response with other existing techniques.

This paper gives the idea to develop an advanced automatic driving system by using sensors and raspberry pi. Driver activity is exacerbated by numerous factors linked to the automobile, the climate, and driving. Monitoring the movement of drivers to ensure the protection on roads is essential to reduce road injuries, to build a program such as adapting to the current scenario. When detection occurs, the system takes action to be in charge automatically without driver inclusion. The prototype method consists of a microcontroller for detecting the various parameters like the distance between the vehicle, weather monitoring, temperature monitoring, the ultrasonic sensor is utilized for finding the obstacle in front of the vehicle, the camera module is used to send the images of the obstacle. Sensor values like temperature, obstacle distance have to be stipulated as threshold values, if these calculated values are more than threshold values, and Raspberry Pi handles the dc motor speed. All the information is monitored and updated in the cloud through TCP/IP (Wi-Fi) protocol send via E-mail and SMS.
