The Relation between Estrogen Receptors and Response Rate to Cytotoxic Chemotherapy in Metastatic Breast Cancer
M E Lippman,M E Lippman,J C Allegra,J C Allegra,E B Thompson,E B Thompson,R Simon,R Simon,A Barlock,A Barlock,L Green,L Green,K K Huff,K K Huff,H M Do,H M Do,S C Aitken,S C Aitken,Robert S. Warren,Robert S. Warren +19 more
TL;DR: It is concluded that estrogen-receptor values are an important predictor of response to cytotoxic chemotherapy in metastatic breast cancer.
Journal Article
Association between steroid hormone receptor status and disease-free interval in breast cancer.
Joseph C. Allegra,Marc E. Lippman,Richard Simon,E B Thompson,A Barlock,L Green,Karen Huff,H M Do,S C Aitken,Robert S. Warren +9 more
TL;DR: Estrogen receptor positivity was associated with a prolonged disease-free interval and there was no association between the presence or absence of progesterone, androgen, or glucocorticoid receptor and disease- free interval.
Journal Article
Association between steroid hormone receptors and response rate to cytotoxic chemotherapy in metastatic breast cancer.
Joseph C. Allegra,Marc E. Lippman,E B Thompson,Richard Simon,A Barlock,L Green,Karen Huff,H M Do,S C Aitken,Robert S. Warren +9 more
TL;DR: It is concluded that progesterone-receptor values in addition to estrogen-recept status may prove to be important correlates of response to cytotoxic chemotherapy in metastatic breast cancer and Androgen- and glucocorticoid-re receptor analyses are not helpful in predicting response to chemotherapy.
