ANN-based estimation of the voltage ripple according to the load variation of battery chargers

This paper presents a design and simulation of a two-stage cascaded Interleaved Boost Converter (CIBC) for solar applications controlled by using maximum power point tracking method. The proposed two-stage CIBCs consist of two Interleaved Boost Converters IBC connected in series is to extract the maximum power from PV system and to provide a high voltage output with less ripple voltage. The modeling of PV and power converters are studied by simulation in MATLAB/SIMULINK. Results show that the proposed system design has high energy conversion efficiency.

An Efficient High Voltage Gain Using Two-Stage Cascaded Interleaved Boost Converter for Solar PV System with MPPT Technique

This paper presents the steady state and resonant current analysis of a Forward-Flyback Voltage Multiplier operating in discontinuous conduction mode. The operation stages are approached, taking into account the resonant current. The static gain and the conditions for the operations modes are obtained. A sinusoidal approximation is proposed to represent the resonant current with respect to the number of stages, voltage multiplier capacitors and leakage inductance. The characteristics of voltage sharing among capacitors, that allows the use of small voltage components, and the high-gain with reduced turns of the transformer are verified. Bench tests were made for a 200 V/2000 V prototype, from one to five stages, highlighting the overall circuit effects for a 200 W output power. Obtained waveforms for different number of voltage multiplier stages validate the theoretical and simulated results, making this converter an alternative to isolated DC/DC systems where the output voltage must be higher than the input voltage.

DCM forward-flyback converter integrated with a 5-order cockcroft-walton voltage multiplier: A steady-state and resonant current analysis

This paper deals with the analysis of four phase boost interleaved DC-DC converter with the non-coupled inductors for higher power application in Continuous Conduction Mode. The interleaved topology reduces input and output current ripple, voltage ripple and improves the efficiency of SMPS. The value of capacities and inductances affect the behavior of the converter. The investigation of these parameters is described and supported by parametric simulation in LT spice.

The Parametric Simulation of the Interleaved Boost Converter for the Electric Transport Vehicle

Buccal delivery of the desired drug using mucoadhesive polymers has been the subject of interest since the early 1980s. Advantages associated with buccal drug delivery have rendered this route of administration useful for a variety of drugs. The goal of the present investigation was to design and evaluate mucoadhesive buccal patches of rabeprazole which offers an attractive route of administration for systemic drug delivery. Rabeprazole (dose, 10-40mg) is proton pump inhibitor used in treatment of erosion and ulceration of the esophagus caused by gastro esophageal reflux disease. Its oral bioavailability is 52% metabolized in the liver by cyp-450 system2. The patches were prepared and evaluated for their thickness uniformity, folding endurance, weight uniformity, content uniformity, and In vitro release studies were conducted for rabeprazole loaded patches in phosphate buffer (pH, 6.8) solution.

Formulation and Evaluation of Rabeprazole Buccal Patches.

In this paper, a novel two - stage cascaded Interleaved Boost Converter is proposed. A steady state mathematical model for the same has been developed on MATLAB / SIMULINK. This converter provides a high voltage output which is intended to power a three - phase inverter which subsequently drives a three - phase AC load. The input considered is from a 48V battery or solar panel. The output DC link voltage is about 532V. Conventional Interleaved Boost Converter becomes uncontrollable due to very high duty ratio for switching these voltage levels. Hence, a novel two - stage cascaded Interleaved Boost Converter has been proposed. It has been designed for a power output of 1kW. The authors have made an effort to justify the choice of two - stage cascaded Interleaved Boost Converter by simulating and comparing various boost converter topology combinations and it is shown that the chosen topology is the best option from the view of reduced output voltage ripple (0.05V), current ripple (<0.2A), simplicity of design and improved conversion efficiency. The simulated output values of the steady state mathematical model are verified with the designed values.

Design and modeling of a novel two-stage cascaded interleaved boost converter for high voltage applications

The main purpose of this work is to develop delayed release stable tablet formulation of Rabeprozole sodium by direct compression and wet granulation method and enteric coating of tablets. All enteric coated tablets are delayed release tablets but all delayed release tablets are not enteric coated tablets. The present work aims to avoid degradation of drug in acidic environment of stomach. Preformulation studies like angle of repose, bulk density, tapped density, Carr’s index, hausner’s ratios, and drug/excipient compatibility study were conducted, five batches for direct compression and one batch for wet granulation were formulated and evaluated for hardness, friability, weight variation, drug content, disintegration and in-vitro dissolution. Among the six uncoated tablet batches F5 and F6 obtained good drug release profile compared to innovator. So batches F5 and F6 were selected for further steps of formulation i.e., sub coating and enteric coating. After enteric coated batches F5 & F6 were evaluated for acid resistance test and in-vitro dissolution test compared with innovator (ACIPHEX) found to be suitable for Rabeprazole sodium delayed release tablet. In case of stability studies, were conducted at 40oC/75% RH for 3 months. Impurities of these two batches F5 & F6, among these f6 has shown increased amount of impurities than F5. Based on the above data f5 (Direct compression) batch was considered to be best formulation.
