Demodulated High-Order Synchrosqueezing Transform With Application to Machine Fault Diagnosis
TL;DR: The results show that the proposed DHST method is more effective in processing the nonstationary signals with fast varying instantaneous frequency than the proposed TFA method.
Journal ArticleDOI
A Review on SHM Techniques and Current Challenges for Characteristic Investigation of Damage in Composite Material Components of Aviation Industry
TL;DR: In this article, a case study of structural health monitoring (SHM) systems that have been developed from research and implemented for the inspection and safety of recent aircraft structures is presented, which highlights the current challenges of SHM and promotes the concept that SHM has great potential for research in the aviation industry.
Journal ArticleDOI
Generalized Horizontal Synchrosqueezing Transform: Algorithm and Applications
TL;DR: A new method called generalized horizontal synchrosqueezing transform (GHST) is introduced to process the transient signal and demonstrates that the GHST performs better than other traditional TFA methods, and it is qualified for the online condition monitoring of the industrial mechanical system.
Journal ArticleDOI
Instantaneous Frequency Estimation for Nonlinear FM Signal Based on Modified Polynomial Chirplet Transform
TL;DR: A new instantaneous frequency estimation method is proposed for signals with heavy noise, which is based on a polynomial chirplet transform and a ridge curve extraction scheme and an iterative stepwise refinement algorithm is developed to generate a time-frequency distribution with satisfactory energy concentration.
Journal ArticleDOI
Horizontal Synchrosqueezing Transform: Algorithm and Applications
TL;DR: A new method called the horizontal synchrosqueezing transform (HST) is introduced, which is supposed to be a reliable and accurate method for the analysis of transient signals with extensive usefulness and is implemented in both synthetic and real signals.
