TL;DR: This article examined the themes that emerge in the graffiti of men's versus women's bathrooms in order to investigate evolved sex differences, as evidenced in content, and found that the sex differences in graffiti reflect those that may be expected due to intrasexual competition and mate preferences.

TL;DR: The authors analyzed lesbian pulp fiction to better comprehend women's evolved mating strategies and explored the cultural climate in relation to the characters in the novels, and found that the way the characters are described and their relationship dynamics are consistent gender stereotypes concerning masculine versus feminine women.
