Catalyst for treating heavy oils

TL;DR: In this paper, a catalyst suitable for cracking heavy oils can be obtained by baking nickel-containing ore at a temperature between about 850° C and about 1200° C, which is the same temperature as the one used in this paper.

Method for preventing coking in fluidized bed reactor for cracking heavy hydrocarbon oil

TL;DR: In this article, the particles of natural ores having a mean diameter of a few hundred μm are made to be contained in an effluent gas from the top of a reactor, passing through the transfer line at a concentration of 1 to 40 g/m3.

Studies on Hydrodesulfurization of Heavy Distillates

TL;DR: In this paper, two different kinds of vacuum gas oils have been hydrodesulfurized and hydrogen consumption has been measured by means of three procedures, and it has been proposed that the convenient procedure based on the measurements of the changes in aromatic carbon content in the oil by n-d-M analysis is sufficiently applicable to the measurement of hydrogen consumption.

Coking prevention and its device

TL;DR: In this article, the particle concentration in the gas discharged from the outlet of cyclone dust collector while changing the amount of particles retained in the cyclone collector was controlled to prevent the coking of thermal cracking product in the pipe connecting a fluidized bed reactor to a rectifying column.
