Abstract: Apparatus for processing tires, in particular for discovering anomalies therein comprising means for chucking, inflating, and rotating a tire thereon about a vertical axis, means for operating on the tire chucked by moving a load roll to apply a radial load to the tire. The roll is mounted on a delectable yoke secured on a carriage movable to and away from the tire. Means supporting the tire first prelocates and centers the tire, then moves the tire into coaxial registry with the chucking means.
