Exact Confidence Intervals for the Common Mean of Several Normal Populations

TL;DR: The problem of interval estimation of the common mean of several normal populations when the variances are unknown and unequal is considered and some new confidence intervals are proposed and an existing exact confidence interval is numerically compared with respect to their expected lengths.
Journal ArticleDOI

Confidence regions for the common mean vector of several multivariate normal populations

TL;DR: In this paper, an exact confidence region centered at a generalized version of the well-known Graybill-deal estimator of m is developed, and a multiple comparison procedure based on this confidence region is outlined.
Journal ArticleDOI

Efficacy of intramuscular chondroitin sulfate and compounded acetyl-d-glucosamine in a positive controlled study of equine carpitis

TL;DR: In this article, 30 healthy lameness-free horses were subjected to the Complete Freund's Adjuvant (CFA) (Sigma, St Louis, Mo) carpitis model, which was allowed to develop for 5 days The horses were then stratified by model-induced deficit in lameness score, carpal flexion, stride length, and carpal circumference.
