The invention provides a safe and efficient face recognition method based on depth learning and homomorphic encryption. Each terminal is responsible for acquiring face images by using depth neural network, extracting face features from the acquired face images, extracting 128-bit feature data, encrypting the feature data by paillier encryption algorithm and sending the ciphertext data to the cloud. The server at a cloud end receives the ciphertext data from the terminal, and calculates the Hamming distance by the formula of efficient hidden Hamming distance in this ciphertext state, and finally returns the recognition result to the terminal by OT protocol, which effectively protects the privacy. In the process of facial feature data encryption and Hamming distance computation, a parallel computing mode is introduced, which can encrypt multiple facial feature data and compute the corresponding Hamming distance in parallel, thus greatly improving the efficiency of the whole scheme and achieving the goal of high efficiency, and the method is easy to be implemented by software.

A cryptographic key is generated using biometric data and a hierarchy of biometric descriptors. The hierarchy of biometric descriptors includes multiple levels, wherein a biometric descriptor at a first level is associated with a subset of the biometric descriptors at the next lower level. To generate a cryptographic key, biometric data is collected and compared to the biometric descriptors at the first level of the hierarchy. One of the biometric descriptors is selected at the first level, and a first key component is generated based on the first selected biometric descriptor. The biometric data is then compared to the subset of biometric descriptors at the second level of the hierarchy associated with the first selected biometric descriptor. This process of selecting a biometric descriptor and generating a key component continues for each level of the hierarchy. The key components are then used to generate a cryptographic key.

A security risk associated with the received message is determined. It is determined that the security risk associated with the received message meets one or more criteria. Based on the determination that the security risk associated with the received message meets the one or more criteria, a responsive message is sent in response to the received message from a third message account (e.g., security service) to the first message account. The responsive message includes a content reference identified as referring to a content for a user of the first message account. In response to receiving a request made by the user of the first message account using the content reference, access to a message repository associated with the first message account is requested. Once access is granted, the message repository can be analyzed and intelligence about the first message account can be gathered and reported.
