The invention discloses a long-span long and narrow type foundation pit supporting method and supporting structure. A place is leveled to reach the elevation, digging is performed, foundation pit supporting piles on the two sides of a foundation pit are constructed, and crown beams are arranged on the tops of the foundation pit supporting piles; the number of steel truss supporting beams requiredwithin the range of one foundation pit construction section is determined, and the steel truss supporting beams are slidingly installed on guide rails on the tops of the crown beams through slide bases on the two sides; the two ends of the steel truss supporting beams are supported on the crown beams of the foundation pit supporting piles through jacks, and an inner supporting structure is formed;after the construction of one foundation pit construction section is completed, the jacks of the steel truss supporting beams are released, all the steel truss supporting beams automatically move toa next foundation pit construction section along the guide rails; and the steps are executed repeatedly until earth excavation of the whole foundation pit is completed. The long-span long and narrow type foundation pit supporting method and supporting structure can be suitable for supporting the long-span foundation pit, no construction columns need to be arranged in the middle, and the broad foundation pit internal construction work space can be provided.
