Journal ArticleDOI
Corrosion resistance of Al-alloying high Cr–ODS steels in stagnant lead–bismuth
Shigeru Takaya,Tomohiro Furukawa,Masaki Inoue,Toshiharu Fujisawa,Takanari Okuda,Fujio Abe,Somei Ohnuki,Akihiko Kimura +7 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors examined the corrosion resistances of oxide dispersion strengthened ferritic steels containing 3.5% Al and 14-17% Cr and found that a very thin Al oxide layer was formed continuously.
Journal ArticleDOI
Corrosion behavior of Al-alloying high Cr-ODS steels in lead–bismuth eutectic
Shigeru Takaya,Tomohiro Furukawa,Kazumi Aoto,G. Müller,Alfons Weisenburger,Annette Heinzel,Masaki Inoue,Takanari Okuda,Fujio Abe,Soumei Ohnuki,Toshiharu Fujisawa,Akihiko Kimura +11 more
TL;DR: The corrosion resistances of ODS steels with 0-3.5% Al and 13.7-17.3% Cr were examined in this article, and the results showed that Al oxide scales formed on the surfaces of the ODS Steels with approximately 3.5-13.7% Al.
Journal ArticleDOI
Al-containing ODS steels with improved corrosion resistance to liquid lead-bismuth
Shigeru Takaya,Tomohiro Furukawa,G. Müller,Annette Heinzel,Adrian Jianu,Alfons Weisenburger,Kazumi Aoto,Masaki Inoue,Takanari Okuda,Fujio Abe,Soumei Ohnuki,Toshiharu Fujisawa,Akihiko Kimura +12 more
TL;DR: In this article, the effectiveness of Al addition for improvement of the corrosion resistance of ODS steel in lead-bismuth eutectic (LBE) was investigated.

TL;DR: In this article, the oxide dispersion strengthening type alloy steel is produced by applying a mechanical alloying treatment to powers, with which into Fe powder, as the ratio to the total weight, 130-230% Cr powder, 35-50% Al powder, 025-045% Y 2 O 3 powder, 002-005% C powder and at least one side of 02-07% Hf powder and 04-10% Zr powder, are mixed Among those powders, Hf or/and Zr are prevented from the agglomeration of the oxide
