Journal ArticleDOI

Dual agents loaded PLGA nanoparticles: systematic study of particle size and drug entrapment efficiency.

TL;DR: Six independent processing parameters and PLGA characteristics were assessed systematically to enhance the incorporation of the dual agents with different properties into PLGA nanoparticles and control particle size to enhance drug entrapment efficiencies.
Journal ArticleDOI

PLGA nanoparticles simultaneously loaded with vincristine sulfate and verapamil hydrochloride: systematic study of particle size and drug entrapment efficiency.

TL;DR: PLGA nanoparticles simultaneously loaded with vincristine sulfate (VCR) and verapamil hydrochloride (VRP) were prepared via combining O/W emulsion solvent evaporation and salting-out method and showed extremely spherical shape.
Journal ArticleDOI

Uptake of folate-conjugated albumin nanoparticles to the SKOV3 cells.

TL;DR: The association of folate-conjugated BSANPs to SKOV3 cells was inhibited by an excess amount of folic acid, suggesting that the binding and/or uptake were mediated by the folate receptor.
Journal ArticleDOI

Effect of borneol on the distribution of gastrodin to the brain in mice via oral administration.

TL;DR: The results indicate that borneol can accelerate the absorption of gastrodin in the gastrointestinal tract and promote its distribution to the brain, and is a promising promoter for oral brain-targeting drug delivery.
Journal ArticleDOI

Preparation and evaluation of a Carbopol/HPMC-based in situ gelling ophthalmic system for puerarin.

TL;DR: It is demonstrated that the Carbopol 980NF/HPMC E4M can be a viable alternative to conventional puerarin eye drops to enhance ocular bioavailability and patient compliance and showed the character of pseudoplastic fluid under both conditions.
