The present invention provides a heterocyclic compound and an organic light-emitting device including the heterocyclic compound. The organic light-emitting devices using the heterocyclic compounds have high-efficiency, low driving voltage, high luminance and long lifespan.

Organic light-emitting device

A light-emitting element of the present invention can have sufficiently high emission efficiency with a structure including a host material being able to remain chemically stable even if a phosphorescent compound having higher emission energy is used as a guest material. The relation between the relative emission intensity and the emission time of light emission obtained from the host material and the guest material contained in a light-emitting layer is represented by a multicomponent decay curve. The relative emission intensity of the slowest component of the multicomponent decay curve becomes 1/100 for a short time within a range where the slowest component is not interfered with by quenching of the host material (the emission time of the slowest component is preferably less than or equal to 15 μsec); thus, sufficiently high emission efficiency can be obtained.

The present invention provides OLEDs of the top emission type comprising organic light-emitting (LE) elements by preventing the problems such as the widening of the power lines, the reduction in the aperture ratio caused by the widening of the upper and the lower capacitor electrodes and the short circuit between the upper and the lower electrodes caused by the roughness of the flattening layers. Two kinds of the OLEDs are provided. One is an OLED comprising a region of LE layer sandwiched between the upper and lower electrodes is formed on a power line of TFT for driving the pixel. Another comprises a region of the LE layer formed on an electrode of capacitor connected to the TFTs to control the light-emitting element. Accordingly, without forming a flattening layer on the light-emitting layer, there is no electric short circuit between the lower electrode and the upper electrode.

NOVEL BENZO[c]FLUORENE DERIVATIVE AND ITS APPLICATION

PURPOSE: To improve a strength of the titled material, without lowering a collecting efficiency and injuring a pressure drop of the titled material by sticking a very fine glass fiber having ≤4μ diameter and a fine synthetic fiber having 0.05W0.5 deniers each other with a fiberous binder composed of polyvinylalcohol. CONSTITUTION: The filter material is produced by using 60W97% of very fine glass fiber having ≤4μ diameter and 3W40% of synthetic fiber such as the PVA fiber having ≥90°C dissolution temp. in water according to the wet paper making method. A fineness of the synthetic fiber is preferably 0.05W0.5 deniers. The fibrous PVA binder having 500W2,500 polymerization degree, 85mol% saponification value, the dissolution temp. in water of 45W90°C, the fineness of 0.3W10 denier and the fiber length of 1W10mm is preferably mixed in an amount of 0W7% in the paper making.
