Journal ArticleDOI

Genome-wide identification and expression patterns analysis of the RPD3/HDA1 gene family in cotton.

TL;DR: The findings reveal that GhRPD3 genes may be involved in flower bud differentiation and resistance to abiotic stresses, which provides a basis for further functional verification of GhR PD3 genes in cotton development and a foundation for breeding better early-maturity cotton cultivars in the future.
Journal ArticleDOI

Global analysis of DNA methylation in young (J1) and senescent (J2) Gossypium hirsutum L. cotyledons by MeDIP-Seq

TL;DR: The global DNA methylation level decreased from J1 to J2, especially in gene promoters, transcriptional termination regions and regions around CpG islands, which also play important role in regulating secondary metabolite process.
Journal ArticleDOI

Genome-Wide Identification and Expression Analysis of the NHX (Sodium/Hydrogen Antiporter) Gene Family in Cotton.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors identified 23, 24, 12, 12 and 12 NHX genes from Gossypium hirsutum (Gh), G barbadense, G arboreum and G raimondii, respectively, and showed that these genes were mainly divided into three clades with significant subcellular localization.
Journal ArticleDOI

Identification and profiling of microRNAs and differentially expressed genes during anther development between a genetic male-sterile mutant and its wildtype cotton via high-throughput RNA sequencing

TL;DR: This study performs small RNA sequencing, degradome sequencing, and transcriptome sequencing to analyze miRNAs and their target genes during anther development in a GMS mutant (‘Dong A’) and its fertile wildtype (WT).
Journal ArticleDOI

Comprehensive identification and expression analysis of B-Box genes in cotton.

TL;DR: In this article, a comprehensive analysis of BBX genes in Gossypium arboreum, G. hirsutum and G. barbadense was performed.
