Journal ArticleDOI
The inhibitory activities of the components of Huang-Lian-Jie-Du-Tang (HLJDT) on eicosanoid generation via lipoxygenase pathway.
Hua-Wu Zeng,Shengshan Dou,Jing Zhao,Si-Yang Fan,Xing Yuan,Shuanglai Zhu,Li Li,Wei-Dong Zhang,Wei-Dong Zhang,Run-Hui Liu +9 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the effect of Huang-Lian-Jie-Du-Tang (HLJDT) component herbs and pure components were observed on eicosanoid generation.
Journal ArticleDOI
The anti-inflammatory activities of an extract and compounds isolated from Platycladus orientalis (Linnaeus) Franco in vitro and ex vivo.
Si-Yang Fan,Hua-Wu Zeng,Yue-Hu Pei,Li Li,Li Li,Ji Ye,Yue-Xin Pan,Jigang Zhang,Xing Yuan,Wei-Dong Zhang,Wei-Dong Zhang +10 more
TL;DR: The data indicate that the inhibitory effects of the CHL and its components (hinokiol and acacetin) on 5-LOX contribute to the anti-inflammatory activity of LPO and provide a rationale for LPO's traditional applications in the treatment of inflammatory airway diseases.
Journal ArticleDOI
Compounds from Platycladus orientalis and their inhibitory effects on nitric oxide and TNF-α production.
Si-Yang Fan,Yue-Hu Pei,Hua-Wu Zeng,Shou-De Zhang,Yong-Li Li,Li Li,Ji Ye,Yue-Xin Pan,Honglin Li,Wei-Dong Zhang +9 more
TL;DR: The results of bioassays indicated that compounds 4 and 6 showed a potent inhibitory effect on NO production with IC₅₀ values of 24.4 and 11.9 µM, respectively, while compounds 1, 2, and 3 moderately inhibited TNF- α release.
Journal ArticleDOI
Beneficial herb-drug interaction of Gnaphalium affine extract on benzbromarone: A pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic study in rats.
TL;DR: Gnaphalium affine D. Don extract (GAD) enhanced efficacy and reduced toxicity of benzbromarone (BBR) in combination use in normal rats as discussed by the authors .
Journal ArticleDOI
In Vivo Antihyperuricemic Activities of 3,4,5-Tri- O -caffeoylquinic acid, 4,4',6'-Trihydroxy-2'-Methoxychalcone, and Caffeic Acid from the Aerial Parts of Gnaphalium Affine
An Jia,Fei Liu,Si-Yang Fan +2 more
TL;DR: In this article , an experimental mouse model of hyperuricemia was induced by potassium oxonate and hypoxanthine, and orally administered with 3,4,5-triCQA (10 and 20)mg/kg/d), 4,4',6'-trihydroxy-2'-methoxychalcone (Chal), and caffeic acid (CA) for 6 consecutive days, respectively.
