TL;DR: In this paper, the authors describe the data processing pipeline employed by the Low Frequency Instrument (LFI) data processing centre (DPC) to create and characterize the full-sky maps based on the first 15.5 months of operations at 30, 44 and 70 GHz.
Book ChapterDOI
Can Photoionization Solve the Overcooling Problem? A Quick Look at the Cosmological History of Baryons
TL;DR: In a simple, strictly homogenous cosmological model, the IGM would consist of neutral primeval gas as mentioned in this paper, and the Gunn-Peterson test illustrates that the IG should be highly ionized.
Journal ArticleDOI
Detection of anisotropy in the cosmic microwave background at horizon and sub-horizon scales with the BOOMERanG experiment

TL;DR: In this article, the authors focus on the current results for maps and power spectra, with special attention to the determination of the total mass-energy density in the Universe, and review the technical advances which made this possible.

Multi-frequency Wiener filtering of CMB data with polarisation
TL;DR: In this paper, a multi-frequency Wiener filtering method was proposed to estimate the residual errors on the CMB power spectrum assuming the foregrounds have been removed with this method.

Cosmological Parameters from CMB measurements with the CBI
Carlo R. Contaldi,J. R. Bond,Dmitry Pogosyan,Brian Mason,Steven T. Myers,T. J. Pearson,Ue-Li Pen,Simon Prunet,A. C. S. Readhead,M. I. Ruetalo,Jonathan Sievers,James Wadsley,Pengjie Zhang +12 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors derived cosmological parameters from the CBI measurements of the Cosmic Microwave Background (CMB) angular power spectrum and provided an independent confirmation of the standard $Omega = 1$ $\Lambda$CDM model within the adiabatic, inflationary paradigm.
