When a candidate is identified, the user's terminal or a server, on behalf the user, can send a communication to network operator requesting access to their wireless network access point. The friend or colleague can verify the pre-existing relationship by searching for the operator in a private database, such the friend or colleague's contacts list or by searching another database, such as a social networking website.
