Journal ArticleDOI
A review of the recent developments in biocomposites based on natural fibres and their application perspectives
TL;DR: In this paper, a brief outline of work that covers in the area of biocomposites, major class of biodegradable polymers, natural fibres, as well as their manufacturing techniques and properties has been highlighted.
Journal ArticleDOI
Dynamic mechanical and thermal properties of MAPE treated jute/HDPE composites
TL;DR: In this paper, an experimental study on the mechanical and viscoelastic behavior of jute fiber reinforced high density polyethylene (HDPE) composites was performed. And the results showed that the tensile, flexural and impact strengths increased with the increase in fibre loading upto 30%.
Journal ArticleDOI
Effect of glycidyl methacrylate (GMA) on the thermal, mechanical and morphological property of biodegradable PLA/PBAT blend and its nanocomposites.
TL;DR: Morphological interpretations through SEM reveals improved interfacial adhesion between the PLA/PBAT blend in presence of GMA and nanoclay, and XRD studies indicated an increase in d-spacing in PLA/ PBAT/C20A blend nanocomposite thus revealing intercalated morphology.
Journal ArticleDOI
Advances in Piezoelectric Polymer Composites for Energy Harvesting Applications: A Systematic Review
Journal ArticleDOI
Antifouling, fouling release and antimicrobial materials for surface modification of reverse osmosis and nanofiltration membranes
TL;DR: This review summarizes the properties and applications of organic and inorganic materials, antifouling mechanisms, and surface modification of pre-formed membranes.
