Journal ArticleDOI

Oral microbiomes: more and more importance in oral cavity and whole body

TL;DR: Oral microbiomes play an important role in the human microbial community and human health, and the use of recently developed molecular methods has greatly expanded the knowledge of the composition and function of the oral microbiome in health and disease.
Journal ArticleDOI

Structure and Composition of Candidate Phyla Radiation in Supragingival Plaque of Caries Patients.

TL;DR: Proteobacteria, Firmicutes, Bacteroidetes, Actinobacteria and Fusobacteria were the main components and the relative abundance of TM7 and GN02 of CPR is second only to the aforementioned five bacteria, indicating that CPR is an important part of the oral microbiota.
Journal ArticleDOI

Dataset for Genome Sequencing and De Novo Assembly of the Candidate Phyla Radiation in Supragingival Plaque

TL;DR: The detection of a large number of unclassified CPR MAGs in the dataset implies that the phylogenetic diversity of CPR is enormous, and provides a reference value for exploring the ecological distribution and function of uncultured or difficult-to-culture microorganisms.
