Journal ArticleDOI

Cationic Reduced Graphene Oxide as Self-Aligned Nanofiller in the Epoxy Nanocomposite Coating with Excellent Anticorrosive Performance and Its High Antibacterial Activity.

TL;DR: A novel cationic reduced graphene oxide-based epoxy coating was fabricated for corrosion protection and exhibits a high antibacterial activity toward Escherichia coli with 83.4 ± 1.3% antibacterial efficiency.
Journal ArticleDOI

Corrosion inhibition of mild steel in simulated seawater solution by a green eco-friendly mixture of glucomannan (GL) and bisquaternary ammonium salt (BQAS)

TL;DR: In this paper, a green eco-friendly mixture comprised of glucomannan (GL) and bisquaternary ammonium salt (BQAS) was used for the corrosion protection of mild steel in simulated seawater.
Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis and Enhanced Corrosion Protection Performance of Reduced Graphene Oxide Nanosheet/ZnAl Layered Double Hydroxide Composite Films by Hydrothermal Continuous Flow Method

TL;DR: The RGO/ZnAl-LDH composite film could maintain an outstanding corrosion resistance after 7 days immersion in a high concentration of NaCl solution (i.e., 5.0 wt %) and the enhanced corrosion resistance was attributed to the barrier effect on diffusion of water, oxygen, and chloride ions by the RGO contained in the R GO/ZNAl- LDH composite films.

Preparation method for aqueous dispersion of cationic graphene and application thereof

TL;DR: In this paper, a preparation method for an aqueous dispersion of cationic graphene and application thereof is presented. But the method is not suitable for the use of waterborne coatings, such as cathodic electrophoretic coatings.

Treating liquid and method for preparing aluminum alloy surface hydrotalcite conversion film with self-repairing performance thereof

TL;DR: In this article, the authors proposed a method for preparing an aluminum alloy surface hydrotalcite conversion film with self-repairing performance. But the method is not applicable to pre-treatment of coating and corrosion preventing of an outer layer and can effectively replace an aluminum Alloy surface chromate treatment technology.
