TL;DR: A 6-year-old boy with acute monocytic leukemia and therapy-induced leukopenia developed multiple necrotizing skin lesions where an intravenous administration unit had been secured to his arm and hand and resolution occurred following systemic amphotericin B therapy and a granulocyte transfusion.
