Journal ArticleDOI
Three-dimensional mapping of cortical thickness using Laplace's equation.
TL;DR: A novel, computerized method of examining cerebral cortical thickness is presented, which presents graphical results that map cortical thickness everywhere in a normal brain, and shows global variations in cortical thickness consistent with known neuroanatomy.
Journal ArticleDOI
High-resolution MRI vessel wall imaging: spatial and temporal patterns of reversible cerebral vasoconstriction syndrome and central nervous system vasculitis.
Emmanuel C. Obusez,Ferdinand K. Hui,Rula A. Hajj-Ali,Russell Cerejo,Leonard H. Calabrese,Tariq Hammad,Stephen E. Jones +6 more
TL;DR: Postgadolinium 3T-high-resolution MR imaging appears to be a feasible tool in differentiating vessel wall patterns of CNS vasculitis and reversible cerebral vasoconstriction syndrome changes during a follow-up period.
Journal ArticleDOI
Results of the NeuroBlate System first-in-humans Phase I clinical trial for recurrent glioblastoma: clinical article.
Andrew E. Sloan,Manmeet Ahluwalia,Jose Valerio-Pascua,Sunil Manjila,Mark G. Torchia,Stephen E. Jones,Jeffrey L. Sunshine,Michael Phillips,Mark A. Griswold,Mark Clampitt,Cathy Brewer,Jennifer Jochum,Mary McGraw,Dawn Diorio,Gail Ditz,Gene H. Barnett,Gene H. Barnett +16 more
TL;DR: NeuroBlate represents new technology for delivering laser interstitial thermal therapy, allowing controlled thermal ablation of deep hemispheric rGBM, in recurrent glioblastoma multiforme (rGBM).
Journal ArticleDOI
Low-Dose Involved Field Radiation after Chemotherapy in Advanced Hodgkin Disease: A Southwest Oncology Group Randomized Study
Carol J. Fabian,Carl M. Mansfield,Steve Dahlberg,Stephen E. Jones,Thomas P. Miller,Ellis J. Van Slyck,Grozea Pn,Francis S. Morrison,Charles A. Coltman,Richard I. Fisher +9 more
TL;DR: The remission duration and relapse-free and overall survival rates for the entire group of patients with advanced Hodgkin disease as well as for several major subsets of patients were determined.
Journal ArticleDOI
Stereotactic placement of depth electrodes in medically intractable epilepsy
Jorge Gonzalez-Martinez,Jeffrey P. Mullin,Sumeet Vadera,Juan Bulacio,Gwyneth Hughes,Stephen E. Jones,Rei Enatsu,Imad Najm +7 more
TL;DR: The authors report on a safe, simplified, and less time-consuming method of SEEG depth electrode implantation, making the technique a reasonable option for extraoperative monitoring of patients with medically intractable epilepsy in centers lacking the Talairach stereotactic armamentarium.
