A system for and method of automatically implementing PKI-based encryption between a sender and a recipient. The system includes a sender local agent (130) associated with a sender electronic device (100) and a recipient local agent (130) associated with a recipient electronic device (100) wherein both the sender and recipient electronic devices are capable of connecting to a control server (200) via the Internet. The sender local agent is operable to (i) receive content generated on the sender electronic device, (ii) generate a package of encrypted content using PKI-based encryption by obtaining at least one public key from the control server, and (iii) send the package to the control server. The control server is operable to receive the package from the sender local agent and transmit the package to the recipient local agent. The recipient local agent is operable to (i) receive the package from the control server, (ii) launch a recipient local agent-controlled window or process, (iii) decrypt the encrypted content in the package, and (iv) use or display decrypted content within the recipient local agent-controlled window or process. Packages preferably include content such as text, data and graphic images. Packages also preferably include embedded content dissemination rules, selected by the package sender, restricting the dissemination of the content by the recipient.

Secured content delivery system and method

The method may further comprise the step of transferring at least a portion of the wealth generation function between agents.

The present invention provides a system and method that enables users, such as institutional investors and financial institutions, to interactively engage in capital market transactions, including the trading of Over-the-Counter financial products, via the Internet (including the World Wide Web). System and method for conducting web-based financial transactions in capital markets

A system and method for effectuating Electronic Funds Transfer credit messages (see Fig. 12) is disclosed. The main structural components of the system include a Payment Portal Processor (Web Broker), an Internet Pay Anyone (IPA) Account (1202), a Virtual Private Lockbox (VPL) and an Account Reporter, the existing EFT networks, and a cash card for accessing a VPL or IP account. The Web Broker is a software application that provides a secure portal for accessing the user's Demand Deposit Account (DDA) or an IPA account and can be combined with the functionality of a traditional digital Wallet. Consumers use a Web Broker enhanced Wallet to fund their account, shop on the web, pay bills, store electronic receipts and transaction history, and check their recent Web Broker enhanced Wallet activity. The IPA is a special purpose account with limited functionality for making electronic payments in the form of EFT credit messages. The VPL is a limited function receive only account for receiving electronic payments through the EFT. The Account Reporter is a portal to view transaction history and the balance in IPA and VPL accounts, and provide online, real-time transaction reports and reconcile accounts receivable/purchase records against incoming EFT payment records. A physical card can be associated with either an IPA or VPL account in order to provide PIN debit capability.

Method and system for processing internet payments

A method of authenticating an entity by a receiving party with respect to an electronic communication that is received by the receiving party and that includes both a unique identifier associated with an account maintained by the receiving party and a digital signature for a message regarding the account, consists of the steps of, before receipt of the electronic communication, first associating by the receiving party a public key of a public-private key pair with the unique identifier and, thereafter, only conducting message authentication using the digital signature received by the receiving party in the electronic communication and the public key associated with the account identifier.

The financial transaction processing system includes at least one financial server connected through a public network to a number of users associated with client computers. Each user accesses the financial server through a web browser. The web browser is provided with the capabilities to generate encryption keys, to encrypt and decrypt HTML forms, and to digitally sign and timestamp HTML forms. The financial server transfers web pages including HTML forms representing financial transactions. The HTML forms contain extensions that specify the format of an incoming format and the format of a returned form. An HTML form can be transmitted in an encrypted format, in a format including a user's digital signature and timestamp, and in an encrypted format that contains the user's digital signature and timestamp. The financial server tracks each processed transaction through an audit trail including the user's account, the user's digital signature, the timestamp of the transaction, and the text of the transaction.

The browser 216 is provided with an encipher procedure 220, a time stamp procedure 228, a digital signature procedure 230, and a random key generating procedure 232.
