Morphological conservatism of the family Naticidae (Gastropoda) through time: potential causes and consequences

TL;DR: In this article, a landmark-based approach was employed to understand the pattern of morphological evolution of the family Naticidae and found that although the mean shapes of individual subfamilies are different, overall, the family has displayed extreme morphological conservatism from the Jurassic to the Holocene.

The taxonomic status of the genus Hubertoceras Spath: A new light on sexual dimorphism from the Callovian ammonites of Kutch, India

TL;DR: Detailed morphological and morphometrical analyses indicated that Obtusicostites is likely the macroconchiate counterpart of Hubertoceras, and an attempt to identify the probable antidimorph of Hu Herbertocer as from the contemporary large genera with evolute shells described from Kutch is made.
