Water-alcohol separation by pervaporation through chemically modified poly(amidesulfonamide)s
TL;DR: In this paper, Nalkylated derivatives of a poly(amidesulfonamide) polymerized from N,N′-bis-4-aminophenylsulfonyl 1,3-diaminopropane and isophthaloyl chloride were synthesized.
Journal ArticleDOI
Synthesis and characterization of poly(amide sulfonamide)s (PASAs)
TL;DR: In this paper, diamino monomers IIa-IIg were synthesized in a two-step reaction sequence starting from p-acetamidobenzenesulfonyl chloride.
Journal ArticleDOI
Synthesis and characterization of iminodiacetic acid-cellulose sorbent and its analytical and environmental applications in metal ion extraction
TL;DR: Iminodiacetic acid-cellulose sorbent, a chelating sorbent based on sawdust, was synthesized in a two-step reaction sequence as discussed by the authors, and the pH dependence of me metal ion extraction for Cr(III), Cu(II), Pb(II) and Ni(II).
Journal ArticleDOI
Synthesis and characterization of random poly(amide-sulfonamide)s: 3. Copolymers from two diamino monomers
TL;DR: In this paper, four new series of poly(amide-sulfonamide)s (PASAs), having different ratios of two different diamino monomer moieties in the polymer backbone, were obtained by low-temperature solution polycondensation of the respective diamines with terephthaloyl chloride/isophthaloyal chloride.
Journal ArticleDOI
Pervaporation of aqueous ethanol solution through poly(amidesulfonamide)s (PASAs) membranes
TL;DR: In this paper, the effect of temperature on the pervaporation characteristics of poly(amidesulfonamide) materials was investigated in detail, and it was found that water preferentially permeated through all PASA membranes in all ranges of feed compositions.
