CONSTITUTION:A trouble diagnosis unit 4 performs the teaching or diagnosing control in accordance with a teaching mode or a diagnosis mode. In a teaching control mode, an input/output pattern and the time elapsed from the changing time point preceding by a step are stored successively in a storage part 42 every time an output pattern changes. In a diagnosis control mode the diagnosis is carried out based on the input/output pattern and the time elapsed stored in the part 42. In other words, a trouble state is decided if no coincidence is obtained between the present output pattern and a reference output pattern within a reference priod of time. Then the discordant area between both patterns is delivered as a trouble related area.

PURPOSE:To simplify a sequence program by connecting a programmable controller serving as a slave station to an interface circuit for transmission/reception of data to a master station via an interface for control of an input/output unit of a programmable controller serving as the master station. CONSTITUTION:A programmable controller 21 serving as a master station can connect an input/output interface bus to an extended input/output unit 24 via a connection cable 25. While a programmable controller 22 serving as a slave station owns an input/output interface bus independent of that of the controller 21 and using said interface bus to control its own input/output unit and an extended input/output unit 23 based on a sequence program produced by a user inside the slave station.

CONSTITUTION:When control signals of an access from control buses 41, 43 have competed, a control device 40 executes preferentially the using right of a bus 33 connected to a CPU 73. Accordingly, the CPU 73 can execute smoothly a regular program without waiting. A CPU 20 executes an access to a bidirectional memory, when the CPU 73 does not execute an access to a bidirectional memory 30. In this way, when necessity has been generated, the CPU 73 debugs a data inputted from the bidirectional memory 30.

PURPOSE: To detect assuredly the presence or absence of a fault by storing all normal working states during a cycle of a sequence machine and comparing these working states with a memory every time the working state of the sequence machine varies. CONSTITUTION: The working state of a sequence machine A is fetched to a fetching means B for each change of said working state. While a memory means C stores previously all normal working states during a cycle of the machine A. A comparing means D compares the data of the means C with that of the means B. When the coincidence is obtained from this comparison, it is decided that the machine A is normally working. While a fault is decided when no coincidence of comparison is obtained. Then a fault signal is delivered to detect early the fault. Thus it is possible to detect a fault early by a simple device and to recover the fault in a short time. PURPOSE:To make an adjusting work of a facility simple by installing a programming circuit between PLC (programmable logic controller), connecting a programming device to a desired PLC in a software manner and communicating the data. CONSTITUTION:Plural PLCs 15-18 are connected to facilities 1-4 of a production line, and further, a programming device 41 is installed. Respective PLCs 15-18 are linked with a data exchange device 12, the programming device 41 is connected with PLC17 by a communicating circuit 42, and the circuit 42 is connected with a programming circuit 50 between PLC. Thus, transmitting data from the programming device 41 are sent through a circuit in the PLC17 to the circuit 50 and a deciding gate circuit, and can be received with all PLC. For this reason, while the programming device 41 is connected to PLCs 15-18 located at the processing unit to be adjusted, the program of dispersed and arranged PLCs 15-18 can be prepared and corrected.

Dispersion type programmable logic controller

PURPOSE:To use effectively a memory of a sequence controller and to set freely an address by setting an optional address for each of input/output modules which are connected to a sequence processing part of a sequence controller. CONSTITUTION:A sequence processing part 2 of a programmable sequence controller DC1 is provided with a CPU, a sequence memory, etc. and connected to input modules 4-7 and output modules 8-11 via a bus line 3. The part 2 constitutes a unit by itself and stores the modules 4-11 into a cubicle (not shown in the diagram) together with input/output modules loaded to eight slots. The sequence can be freely set among input/output modules 4-11, and the input and output are possible at 16 points respectively. Thus the signals are transferred between the part 2 and a control subject based on the address data designated via the line 3. Thus the effective use is possible for a memory of a controller.
