The application of blockchain technology in e-certificates in the open journal system is needed to validate and distribute managed e-certificates in each journal issue. With tools in the form of conceptualized and managed blockcerts allows users to use and verify the authenticity of e-certificates that are closely linked to the blockchain. Observation on the open journal system and applied blockchain tools in the form of blockcerts as a place to issue e-certificates with guaranteed security so that e-certificates are verified as well as managed data. Issuance of e-certificates is still considered unsafe because it can be easily forged. Specifically, this study produced two benefits, namely: (1) Issuance of e-certificates in an open journal system is more verified, data is managed and there will not be duplications or even falsification of e-certificates. (2) The reputation of the open journal system is better with a sense of trust. This research uses library study method by implementing e-certificate in an open journal system with blockchain technology tools such as blockcerts. In order that the results of the e-certificate issuance go well and to avoid any crime that threatens the authenticity of the e-certificate, this blockchain is used to guarantee that the e-certificate is safe and not easily falsified, duplicated or even easily replaced by those not granted access rights. By using blockchain technology, the data collected will be well managed and not easily falsified.

In the disruptive 4.0 era that emphasizes technological sophistication, blockchain is present as a technology that increasingly influences human life, helping humans in all aspects, including education. The role of blockchain technology in the world of education is to test the validity of diplomas, the increasing number of fake diplomas for an interest, both for work and continuing education to a higher level. The purpose of this research with the implementation of blockchain is expected to make it easier for users to verify the authenticity of a diploma. This study uses the SWOT analysis method to identify all possibilities that exist in blockchain technology. The final result of this research, the system will print a physical certificate in the form of paper in general, then the certificate will be printed a QR code. To verify numeric code on QR Code via scanning on smartphone or QR Reader. It is hoped that the blockchain technology applied to digital assets can reduce cases of forgery of diplomas and other important documents.

Embedding a Blockchain Technology Pattern Into the QR Code for an Authentication Certificate

Mel frequency cepstral coefficient (MFCC) is a popular feature extraction method for a speech recognition system. However, this method is susceptible to noise even though it generates a high accuracy. The conventional MFCC method has a degraded performance when the input signal has noises. This paper presents the implementation of denoising wavelet on speech input of MFCC feature extraction method. The addition of denoising process using wavelet transformation was expected to improve the MFCC performance on noisy signals. The study used 120 speech data, with 30 data were used as the reference, and the other 90 were used as the testing data. The testing data were mixed with white Gaussian noise and then tested to the speech recognition system that already had the reference data. Parameters used in the wavelet denoising process were soft thresholding with the Minimaxi thresholding rule. Eleven wavelet methods on decomposition level 10 were tested on the denoising process. The classification process used K-nearest neighbor (KNN) method. The Fejer-Korovkin 6 wavelet was the best denoising speech signal method that achieved the highest accuracy on input signals with SNR of 5-15dB. Meanwhile, the Daubechies 5 method had a high accuracy on input signal with SNR of 3 dB. All of the tested denoising methods using wavelet transformation were able to improve the accuracy of the speech recognition system on input signals with SNR of 0-10 dB compared to the system without denoising method.

Beberapa usulan juga menerapkan blockchain pada teknologi IoT untuk meningkatkan unjuk kerja dan scalability . Namun, tipikal penerapan teknologi IoT dalam skala masif masih memiliki beberapa kendala, terlebih dalam hal manajemen akses dan identitas peranti yang terkoneksi. Makalah ini mengusulkan kombinasi dari permissioned blockchain dan teknologi Keyless Signature Infrastructure (KSI) sebagai metode untuk mengatur hak akses dan identitas peranti IoT. KSI dikenal mampu untuk memberikan layanan tanda tangan digital tanpa tergantung pada kunci privat maupun publik dengan menggunakan teknik pohon hash . Dengan karakteristik dari blockchain yang terdistribusi, teknologi KSI dapat dipadukan secara lebih efisien. Hasil yang diperoleh memberikan manajemen akses dan identitas dengan scalability yang tinggi.

Rancang Bangun Identity and Access Management IoT Berbasis KSI dan Permissioned Blockchain

Graphic image is compulsory in delivering information and communication in this information technology era. Graphic applications are used widely to manipulate images in advertising industries and in animation movie productions. In order to manipulate numerous and complex images, it is required long period of time and high-performance computers. However, computers with high-performance specification are still very expensive these days. This condition triggers the development of distributed processing technique using the implementation of computer cluster which does not require very advanced specifications. A computer cluster is a computer system that employs many computers (PCs) which are connected within a computer network and work simultaneously in parallel for solving given computational processes.

Implementation and performance analysis of MPI cluster system in distributed rendering

This paper presents the development of Enterprise Security Framework (ESF) for an Indonesian government institution called SKK Migas (Special Task Force for Upstream Oil and Gas Business Activities). The framework developed based on two security standard namely ISO 27000 and SABSA. The development is started by evaluating available information security standard and best practice used in enterprise scale. The next step is analyzing existing security policy and implementation regarding the Information Security Management System (ISMS) in SKK Migas and then perform gap analysis. The main step is the synthesis of security framework which intended to improve information security management in SKK Migas. The resulted security framework covers 14 security domains which will be used to control information security management within the institution.

Advertisements broadcasting service on radio is required to report data after performing broadcast correctly and should be accountable to the owners of ads on the date, hours of broadcasting and the number of ads that aired under the contract. Therefore, it is necessary to monitor the ads in accordance with the contract between the ads owner and the radio broadcaster. The monitoring can be done by code marking inside the ads as the identity of the owner. The insertion of the Custom DTMF code through the mixing signal was done using the principle of steganography in the time domain. This research was conducted with a variety of ads audio signal that mixed with noise signal and then analyzed regarding on the placement of the custom DTMF code. For detecting on the receiver side, the DTMF Custom signal must have the magnitude level properly. The results showed that the ads audio signal and the inserted custom DTMF codes can be read well by the detector and it wasn’t interfere the ads signal heard by the audience. Layanan siaran iklan di radio membutuhkan adanya lapor-an yang akuntabel baik mengenai hari, jam, dan berapa kali tayangan dalam sehari yang disepakati dalam kontrak antara pemilik iklan dan radio penyiar. Oleh karena itu sangat penting memonitor hal tersebut dari kedua belah pihak. Monitoring tersebut dapat dilakukan dengan mem-berikan tanda di dalam siaran iklannya. Penyisipan kode DTMF Custom melalui pencampuran sinyal ini menggu-nakan prinsip steganografi dalam kawasan waktu. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan berbagai variasi sinyal audio yang dicampur dengan berbagai derau dan dianalisis penempatan kode DTMF Custom-nya. Untuk pendeteksian disisi penerima, sinyal DTMF Custom nya harus mempunyai level yang tepat. Hasil penelitian menun-jukkan bahwa sinyal iklan dan kode DTMF Custom yang disisipkan dapat dideteksi dengan baik oleh detector namun tidak terdengar oleh para pendengar.
